Get Oriented
Step 4: Participate in the New Student Orientation
The purpose of the orientation is to ease any anxieties you may have about college and how to successfully transition into KCC.
-
We cover new and unfamiliar college terms, career exploration, important dates, COMPASS preparation, and campus policies.
-
You'll also have a chance to sit with someone from KCC for help in learning about program requirements, registering for courses, and, completing the financial aid process,
-
This is also an opportunity to meet new people – fellow students, instructors, and academic advisors/counselors.
You should sign up for the earliest session possible. The earlier you sign up, the early you will be able to register for the classes you want to take.
